I’m Jordan

I’m not your average wellness blogger. I’m a military veteran, trauma survivor, and late-diagnosed ADHDer with a master’s degree and a background in communications. I built the “perfect life” — then watched it collapse under the weight of masking, burnout, & misdiagnosis.

Focus in Flux is what came after: A raw, rebellious trauma-informed ADHD wellness brand built for people whose brains don’t play nice with traditional systems. I create research-backed content that blends tough love, actionable strategy, and unapologetic storytelling.

If you’ve been gaslit, burned out, or told you’re “too much” or you’re “not giving enough” — you’re not alone. You’re not lazy or failing. You’re a fucking force and I’m here to remind you who the hell you are.

FAQ

Answers to the most common questions about what Focus in Flux stands for, who I am, & what I post.

Focus in Flux is a tough-love resource hub for ADHDers, trauma survivors, and anyone ready to reclaim their damn life. I blend personal stories, real strategies, and tools I’ve tried that can also help you work with your brain, not against it.

Nope. I’m not a mental health professional — and I don’t pretend to be. I’m a lived-experience expert who’s done the research, tested the tools, and built systems that work for my ADHD & PTSD brain. Everything I share comes from my journey — raw, real, and rooted in truth. Here’s a glossary with terms you’ll find throughout my content.

All my content supports your real life, not some ideal version of it. Specifically, Focus in Flux leans into Executive Function Strategies, ADHD Mindset & Mood, and Wellness Rituals throughout exclusive monthly newsletters, bi-weekly blog posts, weekly social content, free digital ADHD-friendly tools, & product recs that make life easier. That’s it — clear, useful, and made for your brain.

This space is for neurodivergent self-starters, burnout survivors, creative misfits, recovering overachievers, and cycle-breaking parents. Whether you’re newly diagnosed, self-diagnosed, or simply done pretending to be someone you’re not — you’re home here. You don’t need a label. You just need a desire to build a life that finally works for you.

I use affiliate links for some of the products I recommend. That means I may earn a small commission if you choose to buy through my links — at no extra cost to you. I only share what I’ve personally used and genuinely stand behind.

Subscribe to the monthly newsletter to get exclusive resources, discounts, additional insights, and more — plus some rebellious motivation to keep showing up as your full self.
